In the study, findings show customers achieved up to 10% energy savings, realising a three-year present value of approximately £2.4 million. How?

Before deploying OpenBlue, customers lacked a comprehensive understanding of how their facilities were performing in terms of energy efficiency.

While they could monitor their energy expenditure, they did not have the level of detail or the broader perspective needed to identify opportunities to reduce energy waste, lower costs, and enhance their environmental performance - without compromising employee productivity across their building portfolios.

Following the implementation of OpenBlue, interviewees reported energy cost savings by addressing issues in real time and applying best practices from high-performing sites across their wider estate.
