Flood Detection for Marine Applications
Our flood detection switches are designed for high or low level alarm duties to give a voltage-free contact or solid state transistor output for alarm signalling or as part of a pump control system.
Benefits of Flood Detection
The ultrasonic gap level sensors supplied by Johnson Controls are ideally suited to detect flood situations in container ships, passenger ships and military marine applications including submarines.
The sensors can be used in general flood detection applications and can also be used to monitor engine oil sumps, bilge alarms, pump control and lavatory systems.
Manufactured in Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS) for corrosion resistance in most liquids, the 003 range of sensors can be mounted in any position in a tank.
