Glasgow’s new Health Centre Safe and Secure Thanks to Johnson Controls

The new Possilpark Health and Care Centre is situated on Saracen Street in Glasgow’s Possilpark in the north of the city. The centre, featuring a striking design by AHR Architects, forms the heart of a regeneration plan being developed for the area. Offering a broad range of different services under one roof including: GP services, physiotherapy, podiatry, community dental surgeries, and district nursing, the three floor centre will provide a much needed facility in a modern and uplifting building. 

Johnson Controls was awarded the contract to provide a range of safety and security systems for the new Health Centre following ADT’s previous experience of similar sized projects. The Tyco MZX addressable fire alarm offered the best value solution – providing fast and advanced technology critical for a health and care environment.
