The new range incorporates a variety of evacuation alert panels, single and multi-way flat interface units, self-testing evacuation alert sounders and Equality Act-compliant visual indicators and vibrating pillow pads.

- The evacuation alert system can be installed into new buildings or can be retrofitted into existing buildings.
- Easy-to-use controls allow firefighters to manually operate evacuation alert devices located inside individual flats on a zone by zone, or floor by floor basis.
- 110dB Sounders are positioned in every flat (available with Equality Act compliant visual alerting) and will alert the occupant if the need to evacuate arises.
- Our supplied alert systems meet stringent EACIE conditions, and are housed in a tamper proof enclosure according to STS 205 BR2. These housings only allow access to fire and rescue personnel using a special BS EN 1303 key.
- Our range of fully compliant products meet the highest standards BS8629:2019 and are installed by fully qualified BAFE SP207 engineers.
- As fire situations may cause substantial local disruption to radio signals, our evacuation alert system uses reliable, hard-wired technology to guarantee that evacuation alerts are received where and when they are needed.
- Multiple evacuation panels can be networked together to provide coverage for larger installations and allows reduced wiring costs.
- A wide range of flat interface units are available, including single-way and four-way (extendable to eight-way) models in order to accommodate new build and retro-fit installations alike.
- The system is fully compatible with dynamic cloud-based data management software which can be utilised to provide duty holders with a verifiable audit trail of system activity and device testing.
- Our emergency alert system is powered by CAST open protocol technology.
- With over 900 skilled UK engineers, Johnson Controls is a global company listed in the NYSE and invests in providing elite building management solutions for our customers.
- We operate using dedicated high rise building management engineers, who understand Fire Safety and the stringent life safety requirements involved in these applications.
- Johnson Controls offers a full portfolio of supporting fire solution products from detection through to suppression, enabling a full consultative, integrated approach.
- We are committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions before 2040 and have also announced science-based targets for 2030.
- Johnson Controls operates a zero harm culture and health & safety procedures and practices are followed at all times.
Self-Testing Sounders & Visual Alarm Devices
We offer a variety of evacuation alert devices including self-testing sounders, visual indicators and vibrating pads that provide Equality Act compliance.
The vibrating pad is a warning device typically placed under the resident's pillow to help make the hard of hearing aware if an evacuation alert occurs.
The self-testing sounders allow system tests to be carried out by service personnel without having to enter individual flats.
