European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EuroACE)
Together with other leading energy companies, Johnson Controls works closely with the European institutions to encourage and strengthen policies on improving the energy efficiency of Europe's buildings.
European Association of Energy Service Companies (eu.ESCO)
Johnson Controls is one of the founding members of the European Association of Energy Service Companies. This association aims to promote Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) as a way of helping EU member states achieve their energy efficiency targets. Together with other ESCOs, Johnson Controls explains and promotes the potential of EPC, based on its 30 years of experience and more than 2600 contracts signed and deployed globally.
UK Green Building Council
Johnson Controls is a founding member of the UK Green Building Council, whose mandate is to improve the sustainability of the built environment, by radically transforming the way it is planned, designed, constructed, maintained and operated.
Irish Green Building Council
Johnson Controls is a member of the Irish Green Building Council, an organisation that provides framework and leadership to accelerate the transformation of the built environment, industry and supply chain to one that is sustainable.
Johnson Controls is a member of the VFW in Germany whose aim is to promote Energy Performance Contracting for heating, cooling, compressed air and electricity production.
Johnson Controls is a member of the Gimelec in France. Gimelec is an industry syndicate for suppliers of energy and construction equipment, systems, and services, as well as electrical and controls solutions for industrial and infrastructure markets.
Johnson Controls is a founding member of BELESCO (Belgian Energy Service Company), a public law company whose aim is to promote and realise energy savings within the Belgian economy.
